Aequis began with a simple observation: the technology now exists to put rigorous legal help within reach of millions, but only if it is built with the discipline of fields where errors are unaffordable. So we build it that way — grounded in primary sources, constrained against invention, and accountable to a human professional at every step.

Carolina Deik LL.M. · Dr. iur.

Carolina is one of Colombia's leading public-law minds and the legal conscience of Aequis. Principal of Deik Acostamadiedo Abogados — a boutique firm in litigation, public and competition law — she has served as conjuez of the Council of State and advised the Office of the Minister of Justice. She teaches constitutional, administrative, and public-procurement law at Los Andes, Javeriana, Externado, and Santo Tomás, and grounds the platform in the rigor that real practice demands.
